Contact guide: preparing your first inquiry

Contact Vensa Law with a short account of your treatment and the question you want reviewed. Open the sections below for practical help with your first message, documents, appointments, and communication from abroad.

What should I include in my first message?

Begin with your name, a suitable way to reach you, and the country where you are currently based. Explain which treatment you received, the provider involved, the approximate dates, and the main concern you want considered. A brief sequence is usually easier to follow than a long message containing every detail. Separate what you personally experienced from what another person told you. If a date or name is uncertain, say so. You can identify the documents available without attaching your complete medical history to the first inquiry.

Which documents should I prepare?

Keep the original treatment plan, consent information, clinical records, discharge notes, invoices, and relevant correspondence together. Later medical assessments can help explain what happened after the original treatment. Preserve complete messages, including their dates and the identity of the sender. Make a simple list showing which documents you have and which you have requested. Contact the team to discuss how relevant records should be provided. Retain your own copies and avoid editing an original document to make it fit a particular account.

Can I make contact from outside Turkey?

Yes. Explain where you received treatment and where you now live. Mention your time zone, preferred language, and suitable times for a discussion. If you have returned home, distinguish follow-up care already received from appointments that are only planned. Tell the team whether a clinic, insurer, or other representative is already responding to your concern. This gives the inquiry a practical starting point. Communication arrangements and any further documentation requirements can then be discussed in relation to your individual circumstances.

How do I arrange an office visit?

Use the telephone number or email address shown on this page to request an appointment before traveling to our Istanbul office. Confirm the date, time, address, and the person you expect to meet. Ask whether documents should be supplied in advance and whether originals are needed at the meeting. If someone will attend with you, mention this when making the arrangements. Contact us if your plans change so the meeting can be rearranged. The map is a navigation aid; confirm the appointment details directly with the team.

What happens after an initial inquiry?

The first discussion helps identify the treatment concern, the information available, and any questions that require clarification. An inquiry does not establish that negligence occurred or guarantee that a claim can proceed. Before instructing further work, ask who would handle the matter, what the proposed review covers, and how fees and expenses would be agreed. Keep a record of your instructions. If you receive new correspondence, a proposed settlement, or another medical assessment, tell the team so it can be considered in context.

Where can I find related information?

Explore our practice areas to find the treatment description closest to your experience, or read the lawyer profiles to learn about the team. These pages can help you frame an initial question, even if your treatment involves several specialties. For general institutional information about health services, visit the Turkish Ministry of Health website. When you contact Vensa Law, explain which information you have already read and what remains unclear. A focused question helps make the first conversation useful without requiring you to prepare a legal argument.
