About us: how Vensa Law approaches an inquiry
About us: Vensa Law is based in Istanbul and works with patients raising concerns about medical treatment in Turkey. These sections explain our approach to reviewing information, communication, and the practical arrangements discussed before further work.
Understanding the treatment concern
A useful review begins with the treatment you agreed to receive, what the records say, and the consequences you describe. The team considers the surrounding sequence rather than relying on a procedure name or a single photograph. A complication, an unexpected result, and an allegation of negligence require careful distinction. Tell us what prompted your inquiry and which questions you want answered. Where the information is incomplete, identifying the gap is part of preparing a clearer account.
Working with the available records
Medical notes, consent documents, treatment plans, invoices, photographs, and correspondence can each explain a different part of the history. Later assessments should be distinguished from records created during the original care. Keep originals and note who supplied each item. When you read about us or explore a practice area, remember that the evidence needed depends on the individual treatment. The first discussion can help clarify which documents are already available and which further information may be relevant.
Communicating with patients abroad
A patient may begin an inquiry after returning to another country. Explain where you are based, your preferred language, and how you can be reached. If several providers were involved, list their roles and the dates of their involvement. Ask how updates, documents, and decisions requiring your instructions will be handled. Clear communication also means identifying uncertainty: a question may remain open until further records or an appropriate assessment are available. Tell the team about relevant developments during the review.
Choosing the right starting point
Our practice area directory groups information by treatment and type of concern. Some matters involve more than one category, such as surgery followed by a hospital-care issue. You do not need to choose a final legal classification before making contact. Select the closest description and explain any overlap in your message. The individual lawyer profiles provide background about the people working with Vensa Law. Discuss who would handle your matter rather than assuming that a particular profile determines the arrangement.
Agreeing the next steps
An initial conversation is a starting point for discussing the inquiry and the information available. Before further work begins, ask about the proposed scope, the person responsible, fees, expenses, and communication arrangements. Keep a copy of the terms and your instructions. A previous result or another client's experience does not determine the outcome of a different matter. For general institutional information, the Turkish Ministry of Health provides an external reference. Contact our team if you would like to discuss your own treatment history.
